Bayberry Associates utilizes a four
phase approach to determining your cash and treasury
requirements:
Phase I - Getting to know you
Before we can offer meaningful solutions, we will first
spend time with your company in order to get an
understanding of how your business operates (the
"look-under-the-hood" and
"kick-the-tires" approach). We will then do a
complete review of the cash management services that you are
currently using. Following this, we will examine your
current policies and procedures to determine the strengths
and weaknesses of your present system. We will also assess
your personnel currently involved with the cash process.
Finally, we will listen to your concerns and goals.
Phase II - Our recommendations
Bayberry Associates will then be in a position to provide
customized recommendations specifically tailored to your
company’s needs. We will take into account your type of
industry since some cash management practices are industry
specific and adopting them will not be efficient or cost
effective. Finally, the capabilities of your staff are also
factored in as certain components of a cash system will not
be beneficial if your staff can not handle them.
Phase III - The Request for Proposals (RFPs) Process
If applicable, we will next select a preferred list of banks
or other service providers (new ones and possibly existing
ones) that can provide you with the desired products and
services. We will then prepare (if applicable )tailored RFPs
for each bank/service provider to complete. Finally, we will
evaluate the completed RFPs and choose the right
bank/service provider that can best deliver the recommended
products and services (meeting both your current and future
requirements) in a cost effective manner.
Phase IV - Implementation and training
Finally, we will help with the implementation and offer
complete training on whatever products and services are
chosen. We will also provide as much handholding as
necessary to get you and your staff completely comfortable.
It will not help your company’s productivity or our
reputation if new products or services are used improperly
or scrapped altogether because of poor or incomplete
training.
